Lisa Concepcion aims to strengthen our networking

Lisa Concepcion '05 has joined the New Jersey Wellesley Club as the Young Alumnae Rep. She is a vice president in the financial crimes risk review department at JP Morgan Chase, where she keeps up-to-date on the ever-changing legal landscape related to financial services, which includes completing one certificate in U.S. Law and Methodologies and pursuing another developed for compliance risk professionals.
As the Young Alumnae Rep, Lisa is planning a series of programs to be held throughout the fall and winter in the Hudson County area, which will focus on networking and will engage professional women in the area. Lisa will draw on the experience she developed through another of her volunteer activities, working as the co-chair of the corporate sector women’s group at JP Morgan Chase. Lisa also plans to offer several social events for alumnae in the area.
At Wellesley, Lisa majored in psychology and was involved with Mezcla, an organization dedicated to the academic and social interests of Latina students at the college. In her spare time now, Lisa, who lives in Union City, likes to golf with her husband on weekends and train for triathlons.
