Lei Xi '90 will give a talk on traditional Chinese culture, its past and present, covering the topics:
-The essence of traditional Chinese culture
-Systematic destruction of traditions and culture during the "Cultural Revolution" in the 1960's
-Ongoing efforts to revive tradditional Chinese culture through performing arts
-Quick Overview of Classic Chinese Dance and traditional Chinese music and instruments

The event will be accompanied by a Chinese tea tasting! Guests will be able to taste a fine selection of tea from China and Taiwan.

No cost to attend. Open to Wellesley Alumnae and friends and family, please no guests under the age of 13 due to space constraints.
