The Wellesley College Choir brings its tradition of choral excellence to Merkin Concert Hall in an evening of dynamic repertoire for women's voices. Conducted by Lisa Graham, the program titled "We Are" focuses on themes of community and our connection to the natural world. The concert features music by Johannes Brahms, Ronald Perera, Joan Szymko, Ysaye Barnwell, and celebrates the poetry of E.E. Cummings. Founded in 1900, the choir has an active performance schedule including annual tours which recently include California, South Korea, and Canda. Their New York appearance is the last stop of a three-state tour this March. Additionally, the program will feature a medley of Wellesley songs and America the Beautiful.
COST: $15, with $10 discounted tickets for students and seniors
